Sunil Lahri was born on January 9 into a middle-class family in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. He is best known for his role as Lakshman in Ramanand’s Ramayan. In 2012, Sunil’s father passed away. His mother’s name is Tara Lahri. Sunil has a sister, two brothers, and one brother. Shailendra Lahri and Shashendra Lahri are his brothers.

Sunil’s first role was in the 1980 movie “The Naxalites,” which was directed by Ahmed Abbas and starred Mithun Chakraborty and Smita Patil. Sunil played a small part in the movie. Even though the movie didn’t do well at the box office, Lahri had no trouble getting work in Mumbai.
Sunil wasn’t very good at movies, and he didn’t do well in that field. In 1990, he played second lieutenant Rama Raghoba Rane on another hit TV show called Param Vir Chakra.
The director of Ramayan wanted Sanjay Jog to play the part of Laxman, but Sunil got the part instead. Sanjay turned down the part, which worked out better for Lahri.
After 150 actors tried out for the part of Lakshman, Sunil Lahri was chosen.
Sunil and his co-star from Ramayan, Anil, opened a production company together. Sunil and his team were also invited to the Kapil Sharma show.
