Sunil Lahri was born on January 9 into a middle-class family in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. He is best known for his role as Lakshman in Ramanand’s Ramayan. Since he was a child, he was always involved in the extracurricular activities at his school. After that, he became very interested in acting. His family moved to Bhopal after he had spent most of his early years in Damoh. Lahri was very surprised by this.

Sunil Lahri was born on January 9, but no one knows what year. He is well-known for his work on the old Ramayan, which was shown on the Doordarshan channel. His father only taught at a medical college in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Most of Lahri’s early life was spent in Madhya Pradesh, but he was soon moved to Bhopal.

Sunil was born in Madhya Pradesh to a middle-class family. Dr. Shikhar Chandra Lahri, Sunil’s father, worked as a professor at a medical college in Madhya Pradesh. In 2012, Sunil’s father passed away. His mother’s name is Tara Lahri. Sunil has a sister, two brothers, and one brother. Shailendra Lahri and Shashendra Lahri are his brothers.

Sunil Lahari was married twice during his lifetime. He got married for the first time to Radha Sen, but things didn’t work out between them. So he cut the tie and married his second wife, Bharati Pathak.

Sunil Lahri’s career began when he got parts on TV shows. He moved from Bhopal to Mumbai to work in movies, but he doesn’t have a great track record.

Sunil’s first role was in the 1980 movie “The Naxalites,” which was directed by Ahmed Abbas and starred Mithun Chakraborty and Smita Patil. Sunil played a small part in the movie. Even though the movie didn’t do well at the box office, Lahri had no trouble getting work in Mumbai.

Sunil wasn’t very good at movies, and he didn’t do well in that field. So, Lahri decided to move to television, where he quickly became well-known, especially for playing Laxman in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan. Not only that, but he also played different roles in a number of TV shows, such as dada dadi ki kahaniyan and Vikram Aur betaal. In 1990, he played second lieutenant Rama Raghoba Rane on another hit TV show called Param Vir Chakra.

The director of Ramayan wanted Sanjay Jog to play the part of Laxman, but Sunil got the part instead. Sanjay turned down the part, which worked out better for Lahri.
After 150 actors tried out for the part of Lakshman, Sunil Lahri was chosen.
Sunil and his co-star from Ramayan, Anil, opened a production company together. Sunil and his team were also invited to the Kapil Sharma show.
