When Saket Gokhale, a social activist, files a case against Ram Temple Bhoomi Poojan, he makes the news. Saket filed the petition with the Allahabad High Court, saying that around 300 people would gather at the temple for Bhoomi Poojan, which would go against the government’s rules about how far apart people should be from each other.

But after all the arguments, the High Court bench turned down the social activist’s petition. He also took part in a news debate on ZeeNews, where he said that having the Bhoomi Poojan ceremony during this pandemic is too dangerous and that the government should put it off for a while.

After this happened, Saket wrote on Twitter that BJP and RSS workers were calling him and telling him they would kill him. They also showed up outside his house in Mumbai and started shouting “Jai Shri Ram” and threatening him and his family.

Anil Deshmukh, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, told the issue to be looked into right away. He also told the activist that he and his family would be safe.

Sachin Sawant tweeted that other leaders besides Anil Deshmukh came to support the social activist. They said that India is a democratic country and that the Maharashtra police need to take strong action against the RSS goons. They also said that it is not the Uttar Pradesh government.
